I'm Going from Rehearsal to Performance

Speaker:
Lady Shania Merriwether
Reference Text:
II Corinthians 12:7-9
Saturated in the Word and a “soul-stirrer”, our leading lady, Shania Merriwether, ministered an anointed sermon today with power & ecstasy! A mouthpiece for God, she declared, testified and spoke with confidence the significance of rehearsal and performance!
All in all, “rehearsals” are prayer, fasting, studying the Bible, and other good habits takes precedence over any obstacle: (sickness, bills, stress, children, spouse, etc.). “Performances” or “victories” are results (deliverance, healing, happiness, peace, joy, etc.)!
“And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father's sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock: And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him. Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God.
David said moreover, The Lord that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the Lord be with thee…”
We can see David rehearsing to Saul how the Lord delivered him from defeat! If no one confronts the enemy, you muster up strength to do it—having the Almighty as your defense! Only you and God— No one else or a crowd! Emmanuel will be with you & no military assistance is needed! As stated, talk to the Lord about any matter that is plaguing you! It’s rehearsal time! After voicing your concerns, in His own time, you will come out victoriously!
It’s amazing what God can do when we give ourselves to Him! He can permeate our lives with heavenly blessings no matter the problem or emergency! Reiterating: David’s confidence came when spending crucial moments with the Lord! It’s rehearsal time! Pray without ceasing...let your requests be made known! Those who have been in plays, sporting events, etc. realizes the necessity for rehearsals. As said, “practice makes perfect!” Rehearsal comes from the root word, rehearse.
When reading the same scripture during a dark time, you know that God is my light and my salvation! He will illuminate the light in a dark place. Seek, apply and enjoy the Truth! If so, you will see God’s wonders!
Let’s have a little talk with Jesus! You can’t run from yourself! “Let this mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus!” To cure a distorted mind, consult the Creator! Let us “Come to the garden alone while the dew is still on the roses; and the voice I hear, falling on my ear, the Son of God discloses…” When you sow in tears, you will reap with joy!
The Lord had to rehearse Himself to Abraham and he heard and obeyed! The Father then acted for he knew His voice! Moses obeyed because he had been in rehearsal with God! Rehearsals let you know that God is speaking! He told Moses to “Take thy sandals off your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground.” It’s rehearsal time with God…”A broken and contrite heart God will not despise.” Psalm 51:17.
Performance follows rehearsal. Jeremiah 1:12 says: “Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well seen for I will hasten my word to perform it.” When you rehearsed with your hearing and heart, your problem can be completed! Watch God execute it! Be encouraged! Abraham kept going and staggered not with God but was fully persuaded! What God has promised, He is able to perform! The promises of God are yea, yea and amen!
Looking at something big? Keep going to rehearsals with God! The more you rehearsed, the more stronger/blessed you’ll be. “Therefore, leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God.” Hebrews 6:1.
Don’t lose hope! What do you see? See Him in the situation! See beyond bills; your child cutting up...car issues; the job et al. Change the way you look at something. Keep the faith! People may laugh in your face, harm you but go to rehearsals with the Lord!
“Be confident for being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ!” Philippians 1:6. The Word will stand instead of falling apart! “Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy.” Jude 24:25.
You can miss an important event or appointment but don't miss your rehearsal with the Lord! Anoint your home! “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!” If you rehearse a “pity-party” that’s what you’re going to get! The Word will stand when everything else fall! Remember: “The fervent prayers of the righteous availeth much...Keep saying it! Continue to rehearse it again, again, again...
Job 8:7 says: “Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.” Don’t be weak; take God’s Word instead of everyone’s else. “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper…” Isaiah 54:17. Every giant shall fall….cut off his head! There shall be a rehearsal and performance in your life! Don’t miss out!
We thank Lady Merriwether for fervently connecting us with God's Word! With the voice of triumph, she undeniably proclaimed the goodness of the Lord!
